  • This support group is for licensed healthcare providers only. (MD/DO, RN, CRNA, NP, PA, PharmD, PT, OT, ST, LCSW, etc) who have personally experienced a pregnancy or infant loss.
  • Loss is considered a miscarriage, stillbirth, infant (first year of life) loss, termination for medical reasons (TMFR), molar, chemical, or ectopic pregnancy or other loss.
  • This is a closed and moderated group.
  • You will be asked some required questions to join.
  • Anyone who violates the group rules will be removed.

Overview

  • Ask questions or request stupport.
  • Share your loss story including photos.
  • Triggers at work (i.e. resuscitating a baby, caring for a pregnant patient, etc).
  • Wanting to change jobs (i.e. a new position that does not include OB patients or NICU babies, getting trained in aesthetics to decrease time in the OR, etc).

  • Options to more smoothly return to work after loss or start a new job shortly after a loss (i.e. what to share/not share with colleagues, a gradual return by starting part time and slowly increasing hours to full time, etc).
