  • These groups are specifically for male, licensed healthcare providers (MD/DO, RN, CRNA, NP, PA, PharmD, PT, OT, ST, LCSW, etc).
  • Monthly virtual support group - It's OK if you have to hop off early (i.e. on call, family needs you).
  • Anyone can jump in and share their loss story, struggles, triggers, or ask for suggestions in either groups.
  • Both groups facilitated by Amy Pelkey, CRNA and David Pawlikowski, CRNA
  • Want to connect directly with Amy Pelkey?  Find her schedule here or message her here.

Overview

  • Sharing of loss stories.
  • Triggers at work (i.e. resuscitating a baby, caring for a pregnant patient, etc)
  • Wanting to change jobs (i.e. a new position that does not include OB patients or NICU babies, getting trained in aesthetics to decrease time in the OR, etc).
  • Challenges with wife/partner.
  • Options to more smoothly return to work after loss or start a new job shortly after a loss (i.e. what to share/not share with colleagues, a gradual return by starting part time and slowly increasing hours to full time, etc).
  • Ideas of how to honor your baby's memory.
